It is Loquat Entertainment’s great pleasure to present the 3rd Annual Bermuda Day In the UK Celebrations.

 On Saturday, May 27th, 2017 (Spring Bank Holiday), Bermudian Culture and Heritage will come alive during the third Annual Bermuda Day Celebrations at Constellations in Liverpool’s creative and digital heartbeat, the Baltic Triangle.

The Liverpool event is sister to the popular Bermuda Day in London, which continues to be the fastest growing Bermudian event held annually in the UK. The successful festival of Bermuda’s talents is in its 10th year and will share the 10th anniversary festivities in Liverpool in 2018.

The event has been an unbelievable success, with approximately 2,000 people attending and we have seen the event move from mostly an indoor event to include an outdoor main stage for Bermudian talent, performing Soul, R&B, Reggae & Hip-Hop gracing. Empowering the Bermudians and the Liverpool community is also highlighted at the event, with a range of vendors and an interactive ‘Kids and Family’ area.

This year in Liverpool will be no exception as we have planned a great family day for our 3rd anniversary in true island-style with live performances, Bermudian DJs, the Bring the Fire Dancers, Staged KAOS, Batala Merseyside, and Gombeys International!

The famous ‘Kids and Family’ Zone will be hosted by DNA Kids with a magic show, Kids’ Disco with speciality DJ, Pass the Passport and Island Fun games, and lots of bubbles and snow!

Experience authentic Bermudian Cuisine prepared by a Bermudian chef Ketas Quality Catering‘ and Bermuda’s favourite cocktails: Rum Swizzle and Dark & Stormy.

There will be fun for the entire family from 12-9 pm and a variety of vendors for keepsakes with goodies such as Bubbles and Clips, Lebo African Designs from South Africa and Kenya, beautiful hand-crafted Crown and Anchor boards from Bermuda, Akoma Arts, Ghanaian accessories and soaps from Ooak by Kofi, delicious sweets by Claire’s Cakes, authentic Bermuda-inspired Root Beer drink, beauty and massage services by Revive Health & Beauty, and Glitterbugz body-art.

Although very little is known about Bermuda, apart from its picturesque beaches, stunning sunsets and the legendary “Bermuda Triangle”, Bermuda Day in the UK, a free family-friendly event, aims to celebrate and promote Bermudian culture, heritage and history, along with it historical and cultural connection to he rest of the world through music, cuisine, and more.
